Making the “PizzaTastic!”

If you have ever been to my streams on hitbox, you may have seen this little image being broadcast:

It’s been a long time coming, but today it happens. Today, I show you how to make this:

It’s called the “PizzaTastic!” (Yes, you MUST include the exclamation point), and this blog will talk all about its creation.

Here are the ingredients you need:

  • 1 block of Mild Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 bags of Ramen Noodles
  • 1 Ramen seasoning packet (you will only need one!)
  • 1 Can of Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Eggs (Room Temp)
  • Herbs (I used German Thyme, Sage, Hot Oregano, Rosemary)
  • Toppings (Varies – for this PizzaTastic!, I used Green Bell peppers, but you can use whatever tickles your fancy)

In a 6qt pot, bring some water to a boil. 4-5 Cups of water is enough to do all the ramen.

Cook the ramen until its all loose and al dente. Drain and set aside, off heat. Leave at little water in the bottom of the pan, so the noodles don’t dry up, and stir every now and then, so they don’t stick together.

Next, we need to make the liquid part for our “Dough”. In a separate bowl, mix 2 eggs and 1 ramen packet together. Make sure it’s mixed thoroughly. If you use two seasoning packets, it might be a little bit overpowering taste-wise, but to each their own.

Now this is important: Be sure the Ramen noodles have had time to cool down before you do this part. If the Ramen is hot, it will start to cook the Eggs, and we don’t want that yet. Go for near room temp on the ramen.

Now place the Ramen into a mixing bowl, and add the Egg mixture to it.

Carefully fix the ingredients together, taking care not to break and tear the noodles in the process. You can use a spoon or a small spatula for this.

Now the “Dough” is ready for cooking. Bitchin!

For this next part, you will need a large fry pan or skillet. Coat the pan with non-stick cooking spray, and 1/2 TBSP Butter. Coat it well, spread the butter around evenly. Make sure the pan is on medium heat.

Take our “Dough” mixture, and gently pour it into the pan. Using a fork, spread out the mixture as evenly and to the end of the bottom of the skillet. This will be the crust of the PizzaTastic!, we must do it fucking justice.

Make sure it’s a round as possible. No one wants a funky-looking pizza. This is NOT Papa John’s (yes that’s right PJ, I remember that shit).

Now we need to let this cook slowly – there is no need to rush it, because it has to get firm so it can be flipped. It took about 5-7 minutes for one side to get a nice browning on it. Oven times will vary, so just keep an eye on it. When it gets a nice light browning on it, flip it over. I caution you that this is a little difficult to do with one spatula, so get two, or find someone to help you flip it over. Either way, make sure to cook it on both sides evenly.

When both sides of the crust are browned, remove from heat. You can leave it in the pan, or place it on your Baking Sheet/Pizza Pan. Preheat the oven to 375 Degrees (190 Celsius).

Now it’s time to get the toppings together.

In this example, I only used Green Bell Peppers and herbs, for simplicity – and I was too lazy to get the toppings I wanted.

Chop up the herbs and toppings. Open up the can of tomato sauce. You can use any brand of sauce you like, I’m not picky.

Remove the Crust from the skillet, and place in the pizza pan. If the Pizza pan is too big, or like me, you just don’t have one, you can always use aluminum foil and make one of your very own. MacGyver that shit, yo.

Now is the time to add the toppings to the pizza.

Place this amazing bastard in the oven for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown. The result:

The PIZZATASTIC! is born!

Serve it any way you want. Drink anything you want to drink with it. You are a fucking champion either way, because you have made the PizzaTastic! like a BOSS!
