Sexting…Everyone is doing it as much as Masturbation.
It’s a fantastic thing, getting sexy wallpapers for your phone. So Why are people doing it all wrong ? I mean seriously: How hard is it to Send and receive a Text Message ?! It’s pretty fucking easy, if you ask me.
I watch Maury – about 2/3 of the guests get busted with sexy pictures of other women on their cell phones, and they’re all guys. From Politicians to celebrities, someone is always getting busted for owning sexy pics of nude women.
So what gives? What is causing all this funk?
The Short Answer: Stupidity – The End
Wait a minute, I can’t leave it like that. I needs to elaborate on this a bit more…
To help us understand HOW sexting is getting fucked up so easily, we need to start with teens and Wikipedia – Wikipedia isn’t part of the cause of the stupidity, I’m just gonna use it to grab some info about sexting, like right now.
Here is Wikipedia’s definition of “Sexting” :
Sexting is the act of sending sexually explicit messages or photographs, primarily between mobile phones.
See Simple as that. Nothing complicated about it at all, Case Closed.
No! There is more – Why I’m I in such a rush to end this thing ?!
Despite being so simple to define, one of the major reasons it’s so fucking complicated for teens to follow is because of the legal consequences if you get caught.
To the Legal Issues teens face with Sexting, we refer to the Wikipedia:
Sexting that involves a minor sending an explicit photograph of them self to their peers has led to a legal gray area in countries that have strict anti-child pornography laws, such as the United States. Some teenagers who have texted photographs of themselves, or of their friends or partners, have been charged with distribution of child pornography, while those who have received the images have been charged with possession of child pornography; in some cases, the possession charge has been applied to school administrators who have investigated sexting incidents as well. The images involved in sexting are usually different in both nature and motivation from the type of content that anti-child pornography laws were created to address.
What the above means is the the anti-child pornography laws in the US see Sexting as a form of Distribution (or Mass Distribution) of Child Pornography (Sender), Receiving Child Pornography (Recipient) and Possession of Child Pornography (Both). The Anti-Child pornography laws needs to be modified to recognize Sexting as a lesser offence with lesser punishment to the offender(s). Here is an example of this:
In Ohio, a county prosecutor and two lawmakers proposed a law that would reduce sexting from a felony to a first degree misdemeanor, and eliminate the possibility of a teenage offender being labeled a sex offender for years. The proposal was supported by the parents of Jesse Logan, a Cincinnati 18-year-old who committed suicide after the naked picture of herself which she sexted was forwarded to people in her high school.
A strong argument for change if I may say.
I’m getting a little too heavy here – time to lighten up and move on the the Adults side of sexting. And Don’t worry, we’ll solve this little dilemma in the end of this post.
You are all grown up. You are old enough to drink, smoke, vote, and fuck, so you can definitely enjoy getting a pic of a grown Woman or a Man in the buff (Whichever gender turns you on, I don’t Judge). But even then, someone is gonna find a way to fuck this up… and most likely end up on Maury.
You’ve seen the show, you know how it goes – a woman says her man comes home smelling like perfume, ass, pussy or a combo of all 3, and she finds racy pics of other women on his phone – granted, the fact that he comes home smelling like sex is a giveaway that he’s been up to no good, but the cell phone pics don’t help him out either.
And what about men and women who send pics to other people ? Let’s start with Brett Favre. He “Allegedly” sent pics of his penis to Jets "Gameday host" Jenn Sterger during the 2008 NFL season. Favre was found not to be in violation of the NFL’s personal conduct policy, but it cost him a fine of 50,000 bucks for failing to cooperate with the investigation, and there will always be that air of doubt around him about this. “Did he sext Jenn Sterger?” – We may never truly know.
And if he did, I don’t think anyone can really blame him – for those of you Who don’t know who Jenn Sterger (@jennifersterger) LOOKS like, he are a few pics of her. Don’t give me that look, you knew this was coming:
The last pic is from when she was in Playboy. Like I said, you can’t really blame Favre.
Another example is from Congressman Anthony Weiner, who allegedly tweeted a pic of his crotch to a 21 year old college student who follows him on twitter.
He has said that his account was hacked, yet didn’t report it. Then he said it was a Joke that went wrong. Either way, he’s better off just owning up to it.
As you can see, a lot of things can go wrong with Sexting the wrong way.
But not all is lost – for I’ll tell you how to enjoy Sexting the RIGHT way. And yes, it’s easier than you think.
Let’s correct the issue with the teens:
Guys and gals, I know you want to and enjoy looking at naked people. It’s in our nature to find people attractive – there is no way of denying that, we are human after all.
But there IS a way you can enjoy looking at those sexy pics without breaking the law.
Via Wikipedia, here is the definition of Pornography:
You’ll notice the word “explicit sexual subject matter” is highlighted in red. It’s not a publishing mistake – it’s buzz phrase for what you need to look for in a picture, and determine if it’s something you should have.
By explicit sexual subject matter, it means pictures that show sexual congress (Anal, Vaginal, Oral Penetrations, weather by Man to Man, Man to Woman, Orgy, etc). These kind of pics you want to avoid. Adult Websites are a good example of what type of pics you should avoid getting. Avoid pics of Pornstars too – by law, legal ADULT porn can only be sold to people of legal age.
The second thing you should for in a pic are women (and/or Men) who are of legal age. Supermodels, Actors/Actresses, Models. These are pics you should have, for they are mainly artistic, and can hardly be called pornographic in nature.
What’s that – You don’t believe me ? Here is a pic you can have:
That’s Model/TV Host Brooke Burke. She is of legal age. This pic clearly shows she is NOT engaged in sexual congress with anyone, including herself. And while the pic is provocative, it’s not Pornographic – so it’s ok.
This picture should serve as a baseline for teens as to what content they can view without getting into trouble.
See how simple that was?
Now let’s move on to the Adults:
How do adults like us enjoy sexting ? Easily as teens, but some advantages.
Remember the words explicit sexual subject matter? Yeah, the same thing applies to us grownups, but with a twist. As stated before:
By explicit sexual subject matter, it means pictures that show sexual congress (Anal, Vaginal, Oral Penetrations, weather by Man to Man, Man to Woman, Orgy, etc). These kind of pics you want
to avoid. Adult Websites are a good example of what type of pics you should avoidget ting. Avoidpics of Pornstars too – by law, legal ADULT porn can only be sold to people of legal age.
Because you are an adult (myself included), you can enjoy porn pics, movies, etc. You see, there is no guessing to getting these kind of pics for yourself (yes, for you), and you can share them with your homies at your leisure – just make sure that it’s not to the lady in your life, unless she is into that kind of thing; And make extra sure that the people in the images are over 18 – and yes, there are a lot of Pornstars, models, etc OVER the age of 18.
Of the pics you want to avoid: Nude pics of your Ex, nude pics of your friends, Neighbors, and anyone who might look and/or is under the age of 18.
And so you all don’t feel left out, here is a base line pic for Adults:
That is a pic of Leah Michelle, from “Glee” which airs on Fox. EVERYONE knows she is of legal age. You’ll also notice that the pic is watermarked in the corner. Learn to love those watermarks it shows that you are not as big a perv as people think you are.
And NOW that’s that. I have nothing more to say. I’m pretty sure of it…
Oh ok, ONE FINAL THING: Sexting is truly a fun thing to enjoy. It’s not an epidemic, a problem in our society, or anything to worry about. If you are gonna get into, or continue Sexting, PLEASE do so with a big serving of Fucking Common Sense. I can’t say/stress that enough.
